| Please
read carefully through the instructions below. This is how I
work with BlackBird. It's only a suggestion, of course -- you
should work however you're comfortable -- but it tends to keep
things orderly for me. -etLux

Instructions
First, create a
directory on your hard drive called BlackBird, for example:
C:\BlackBird
Now, in that
directory create three sub-directories, Master, Work, and
Distribution, for example:
C:\BlackBird\Distribution
C:\BlackBird\Master
C:\BlackBird\Work
Download the zip kit
(below) into C:\BlackBird
Then, unzip a copy
into both C:\BlackBird\Master and C:\BlackBird\Work
This way, you always
have a Master copy, fresh, that you can go back to if needed --
plus, you can refer to the directions in the bb_start.html page and
look at the code tricks in that page whenever you need to.
You do all of your
actual work and testing, etc., in C:\BlackBird\Work.
When you've got all of your work ready and tested, only then,
copy only the required files for a distribution into
C:\BlackBird\Distribution. Obviously -- those are the files
you'll use when you distribute your production copy.
